Privacy policy.

The short version

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts. There is no form here and nothing to sign up for. If you click an affiliate link on the Dale’s Picks page, you go to Amazon, and Amazon’s own rules apply from that point.

Who is responsible

This site is run by Dale LaValley in Georgia, United States. For any question about this policy, or to ask what information is held about you, write to [email protected].

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It loads no analytics and no third-party scripts, so there is nothing here that follows you to other websites or builds a profile of you. There is no advertising network, no pixel and no tracking tag.

What the host sees

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your network address and the ordinary details of your request in order to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare acts as the hosting provider for this site, and its own policies govern what it does with that technical data.

Affiliate links on Dale’s Picks

The Dale’s Picks page links to products on Amazon. Those are affiliate links, which means that if you buy something after following one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That page says so on the page itself.

The links carry a tag that tells Amazon the visit came from this site. Once you follow one, you are on Amazon, and Amazon sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy, not this one. I see totals from Amazon about what was bought through those links. I do not see who you are, what else you looked at, or anything else about your Amazon account.

Getting in touch

There is no contact form on this site. If you email me, it arrives in my inbox like any other email. I keep it as long as I need it to reply and to have a record of the conversation, and if you would rather I delete it, ask and I will. I do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted me, and I do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

What this site does not do

Nothing is sold here directly, no payment is taken, and there is no account to create and no login. No information about you is used for advertising.

Links to other places

This site links to Instagram, to Amazon and to Southern MANA. Once you follow a link to a site I do not run, that site’s own policy applies instead of this one.

Your choices

You can ask what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Write to [email protected] and I will respond. Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights, and I will honor those.

Children

This site is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
